The 2020 Massachusetts Cybersecurity Forum

The Forum

On October 29th, 2020, the Baker-Polito Administration and the MassCyberCenter at the MassTech Collaborative virtually hosted the 2020 Massachusetts Cybersecurity Forum, part of Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month. The Forum was convened by the Commonwealth to highlight partnerships across the cybersecurity ecosystem and to advance the state’s global leadership in cybersecurity.

Focused on the theme of Reimagining a Cyber Resilient Future, the 2020 Massachusetts Cybersecurity Forum was an important opportunity to share cybersecurity lessons learned from the COVID-19 response as industries, specifically the healthcare and financial services sectors, transitioned to telework and adjusted their business practices. In addition to keynote speeches from the Commonwealth’s leadership and the federal government, the Forum had three afternoon Trek Sessions that examined: how patients and doctors transitioned to telehealth during the COVID-19 outbreak; how the financial services industry maintained cybersecurity resiliency during the pandemic; and the future of the cyber industry in the Commonwealth post-COVID.

Materials

Those who registered for the Forum may still access the EventMobi platform to network with attendees, watch “Cyber Around the Commonwealth” videos, view sponsor and partner organization booths, and review speaker bios by entering their login credentials here.
