Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month highlights broad audiences such as educational institutions, businesses, R&D centers, policy leaders, investors and technology groups that come together in the Massachusetts cybersecurity ecosystem. This ecosystem makes Massachusetts a national cybersecurity leader and enables the state's citizens and economy to thrive in the face of growing threats. Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month is held concurrently with National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
The 2025 theme of the Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month, “Cybersecurity is Economic Security” emphasizes the critical connection between strong cybersecurity practices and the economic health of Massachusetts businesses and communities.
We can all maintain a secure online posture by following best practices: using unique passwords and multifactor authentication (MFA), updating software to the latest release, “thinking” before clicking, and reporting suspicious activity. By doing so, we protect ourselves and our data from hackers and cybercriminals. Learn more here about how to be smart and safe online.
